However, these models are often difficult to explain to the stakeholders since they operate like a “black box” in some cases. This often makes buy-in throughout the organization more difficult especially among those shouldering greater portions of the allocated costs.

The SAP EPP plugin pulls the veil off of the black box and exposes the logic of the model to all. It provides a clear way to communicate the methods used to allocate costs and produces the transparency lacking in many ABC solutions today. The SAP EPP plugin is designed for documenting SAP's EPM Suite models currently.

In addition to documenting the model for others to see, it provides an easy validation that the model architecture is implemented correctly as well as providing historical comparisons between models to identify changes.

The SAP EPP can be provided as a service which is completely web based and requires no software installation on your computers or servers.
